The Windsor Economic Partnership is putting together a full color brochure to promote the Town and Village of Windsor as a destination for travelers and tourists.
The 3-1/2 inch by 8-1/2 inch, 12 page, folded brochure will feature venues of historic, artistic, natural, cultural, and recreational interest like the Village Green in Windsor, the old Ouaquaga Bridge, the Susquehanna River, and Hawkins Pond to name a few. Businesses of particular interest to tourists like the Windsor Farmer’s Market, eateries, B&Bs, antique places and museums will also have space available to promote themselves.
A first printing of at least 6,000 copies will be available both within and outside of the town. Locations for brochure placement under consideration include Visitor and Hospitality Centers on Interstates 81, 86, and 88, as well as hotel and motel lobbies, restaurants, travel agencies, and chambers of commerce.
By the end of January, the Partnership will send out letters to more than 100 enterprises in both the Town and Village of Windsor announcing the availability of a dedicated space in the brochure for upwards of 50 sponsors. A non-tax deductible contribution of $100 ensures a business that their name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, website, and service or product will be listed in the brochure. Anyone not receiving a letter but interested in being a sponsor or anyone interested in making a contribution can contact the Partnership at the following address: Windsor Partnership, P.O. Box 432, Windsor, NY 13865.
